My Story
About Me
I began my accounting journey in 2000 as a bookkeeper while putting myself through college at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Since then, I’ve built a career spanning over two decades as Staff and Senior Accountant at companies with over $1Billion in revenue and serving as Controller for a private equity backed surgery center management company.
Over the years, I’ve had exposure to business purchases, acquisitions and corporate audits from the inside, gaining hands-on experience in everything from financial reporting and internal controls to budgeting/forecasting and due diligence. Today, I bring that same level of skill and professionalism to the businesses I serve—because they need and value the kind of insight I can offer.
In 2024, I launched my own practice to gain the flexibility to spend more time with my family, be near the beach I love, and finally work for myself. It is one of the best decisions that I have ever made and I genuinely enjoy helping my small business partners thrive!
I live in North Raleigh with my husband Patrick Bayley, our two sons, and our two beloved dogs. When I’m not working with clients, you can probably find me enjoying time with my family—or planning my next beach day.
Coming soon: I’m excited to be earning my Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) designation and will begin offering professional business valuation services in Q3 2025.
